About the Role
Confluence Theater of Pittsburgh is seeking an organized, service-oriented Education Associate to join our Education and Community Engagement team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting students and families, coordinating administrative processes, and helping educational programs run smoothly behind the scenes.
Reporting to the Academy Director, the Education Associate provides administrative, registration, and customer service support for the organization’s education programs. This position coordinates student registration and tuition processing, maintains accurate student and program records, and supports students, families, and Education staff to ensure efficient program operations and a positive participant experience.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite in Pittsburgh.

Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate student registration and tuition transactions, including enrollment processing, invoicing, payments, payment plans, scholarship and financial aid information, and follow-up on delinquent accounts.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students, parents, and families, providing timely and responsive customer service related to registration, tuition, education programs, and general inquiries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate enrollment and tuition reports and ensure student and program records are complete and current within applicable databases, including prospective, current, alumni, and archived student information.
- Provide administrative and office support for Education programs, including correspondence, mailings, supply coordination, document preparation, and other program-related administrative needs.
- Provide backup administrative support for organizational phone systems, office equipment, and other general office functions as needed.
- Support merchandise sales and related activities, including promotion, inventory tracking, ordering, sales recording, and applicable financial reporting.
- Associate degree in Education, Business Administration, Arts Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- A minimum of one year of experience in education administration, student services, program administration, customer service, or a related environment preferred.
- Experience with student registration, enrollment, tuition or payment processing, database management, or similar administrative functions preferred.
- Must obtain and maintain applicable Pennsylvania clearances required for working with children and educational programs.
