Pittsburgh CLO is a not-for-profit cultural organization dedicated to the preservation, creation and promotion of the American musical theater art form, the furnishing of arts education and providing outreach and meaningful community service opportunities in Western Pennsylvania and throughout the United States.
The Pittsburgh CLO, hailed as one of the nation’s premier regional theaters, is seeking a college aged student for our Producing Internship.
Start Date: 5/12/2025
End Date: 7/31/2025
Approx. Hours per week: 35
Support the Associate Producer and Producing Assistant in the day-to-day activities of the producing department. Learn aspects of producing and line producing. Great communication and team-centered work ethic required. Daytime, evening, & weekend hours necessary.

Requirements
Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google, and Dropbox applications. Keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential to this position.
Compensation and perks include pay at $7.25 per hour and tickets to each performance.

Specific Responsibilities
- Support the Associate Producer and Producing Assistant in the company’s day-to-day activities.
- Print and bind scripts for cast, creatives, and crew for all summer season productions.
- Create and distribute security lists for all venues.
- Proofread contact sheets, measurement forms, scripts, and other production materials.
- Update and maintain internal-facing “face plates” of cast and creatives.
- Organize casting files, scripts, and scores.
- Support the production management department in taking notes during all production meetings.
- Assist in creating audition notices and casting breakdowns for upcoming productions.
- Observe rehearsals and tech rehearsals.
- Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly calendars.
- Support the marketing department in cast and creative approvals for the programs and other outward-facing marketing materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
